While Nintendo’s description of the showcase as a “variety of information related to The Legend of Zelda” is deliberately broad, industry expectations are high. The event is anticipated to reveal significant updates regarding the highly anticipated remake of Ocarina of Time for the Switch 2, which currently lacks a confirmed release date. Additionally, viewers can expect further details on the live-action Zelda movie, which is slated for theatrical release in 2027.
Given the extended runtime of the broadcast, surprises are likely. Speculation remains rampant that Nintendo may offer a teaser for the next mainline entry in the Zelda series.
