Nearly Half of Al-Fayed Abuse Accusers Linked to Trafficking, MPs Told

Approximately half of the women who have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse against Mohamed Al Fayed are believed to be potential victims of human trafficking, according to information shared with lawmakers. During a briefing for the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for the Survivors of Fayed and Harrods in July, senior Metropolitan Police officers disclosed findings from an earlier review.

Offenders identified that the accounts of 70 survivors exhibited distinct indicators consistent with trafficking. This revelation has prompted speculation that the total number of cases connected to the former Harrods owner could see a significant rise.
