Iran’s President Denies State of War with Saudi Arabia, Cites Houthi Independence

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has asserted that his country is not engaged in a state of war with Saudi Arabia. Speaking on the geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, he emphasized that the Houthi movement operates with its own independent agenda, describing their concerns as ‘their own issues’ separate from Tehran’s official stance.

In addition to clarifying Iran’s relationship with Riyadh, President Pezeshkian urged neighboring nations to collaborate on establishing lasting peace and security across the region. His comments come amid heightened scrutiny of regional alliances and conflict dynamics.
