Swansea Drop Points as Wrexham Hold Lead in Goalless Welsh Derby

Championship leaders Swansea City missed an opportunity to extend their advantage at the summit after a goalless draw with Wrexham in a fiercely contested all-Welsh derby at the Swansea.com Stadium.

The match, played in front of a sold-out crowd, was characterized by physical intensity rather than creative flair, with both defenses neutralizing the few clear-cut chances that emerged. The first significant action for either goalkeeper arrived late, when Zan Vipotnik diverted Moussa Yeo’s cross into Anthony Patterson’s arms.
