The 40-year-old Irish icon claimed the vacant WBC super-lightweight belt, cementing her status as a three-time undisputed world champion before a record crowd of 84,000 spectators. Widely regarded as the greatest female boxer in history, Taylor retires as an Olympic gold medalist and a pivotal figure who transformed the landscape for women in the sport.
Taylor concludes her professional journey with a record of 26 wins and one defeat. Her only loss came against Chantelle Cameron in May 2023.
