Apple has introduced its latest Apple TV 4K streaming device, marking the company’s first update to the hardware in four years. The new unit is scheduled for release beginning Friday, November 13th.
Significant internal upgrades distinguish this model from its predecessor. While the 2022 version relied on the A15 Bionic chip, the new device is powered by the A19 chip, promising greater computational performance alongside improved wireless connectivity.
Siri AI represents a central component of the rollout. The feature will operate in beta on second-generation Apple TV 4K models and newer, enhancing voice interaction capabilities for users.
Additionally, the new Find My tracking functionality is compatible with the second-generation Siri remote and subsequent iterations.
The price point has risen substantially compared to previous generations. The new Apple TV 4K is priced at $299, which is double the initial launch cost of the 2022 model before that version saw a price adjustment to $249 in the months leading up to the new release.
