A United Nations fact-finding mission has determined there are reasonable grounds to believe the United States was responsible for two military strikes in Iran this past February that targeted a school and a sports facility. The mission classified these attacks as war crimes.
The report, issued Wednesday regarding events in Iran, also concluded that Iranian authorities committed crimes against humanity during their crackdown on anti-government protests, which resulted in multiple deaths.
Schools shouldn’t be targets under any circumstances. This feels like the kind of escalation nobody wanted to see happen.
