Thieves steal $10.5 million in Renoir paintings at French museum

Two paintings by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, valued at approximately $10.5 million, are missing following a heist at the Renoir Museum in southern France. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning before dawn.

According to reports, thieves initially seized four artworks from the museum. However, after security alarms were triggered, they fled the scene hastily. The swift police response forced the burglars to leave behind two of the stolen pieces, which have since been recovered.
