TechCrunch Disrupt Offers $75 Expo+ Passes to Recently Laid Off Workers

TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 is providing a special pathway for professionals navigating career transitions following workforce reductions. The event organizer has introduced a limited-number offer granting recently laid off individuals access to an Expo+ Pass for just $75, a significant reduction from standard pricing. This initiative aims to help displaced tech workers reconnect with industry leaders and explore new professional avenues.

The discount is restricted to the first 100 applicants who meet the qualification criteria or until the venue doors open on October 13 at 8 a.m. Pacific Time. Once the allocation of 100 passes is exhausted or the event begins, whichever comes first, the offer will no longer be available.

Disrupt 2026 is scheduled to take place at San Francisco’s Moscone West from October 13 through 15. The conference is expected to draw more than 10,000 attendees, including founders, investors, technology executives, and operators. The event focuses on facilitating networking, career exploration, and direct engagement with the startup ecosystem.

Key components of the Expo+ Pass include entry to the Expo Hall, where attendees can interact with representatives from over 300 exhibiting startups. The pass also grants access to breakout sessions featuring panel discussions and Q&A opportunities with industry experts, as well as various side events held throughout Disrupt Week, which runs from October 10 to 16.

Additionally, ticket holders can utilize the TechCrunch Events app, which features AI-powered matchmaking to help users identify and arrange one-on-one meetings with relevant contacts before and during the conference.

The organizers emphasize that the pass is designed to move beyond traditional job boards, encouraging face-to-face interactions that may lead to unexpected career opportunities. However, the Expo+ Pass does not include admission to industry stages or roundtable sessions; those requiring full conference access are directed to explore other ticket options.
