TechCrunch has announced a special promotional offer for its upcoming Disrupt 2026 conference, inviting attendees to bring along a colleague, co-founder, or partner at a discounted rate. The initiative provides a 50% discount on a second pass across all ticket categories, aiming to help professionals maximize the networking and learning opportunities available at the event.
The buy-one-get-one-50%-off deal is available until the conference doors open on October 13 at 8 a.m. PT at Moscone West in San Francisco. After this deadline, standard pricing will apply, and attendees will no longer have access to the reduced rate for a companion.
TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 is scheduled to take place from October 13 to 15. The three-day event is expected to draw more than 10,000 founders, investors, and technology leaders. Attendees will have access to over 300 showcasing startups, 200+ tactical sessions, and more than 250 tech leaders presenting across six industry stages, roundtables, and breakout sessions.
The promotional savings vary depending on the ticket type purchased. Investors can save up to $450 by bringing a second investor pass, allowing them to compare market signals and identify deals more efficiently. Founders purchasing a second founder pass can save $425, enabling teams to divide and conquer networking efforts. General attendees, including those in product, engineering, and growth roles, can save up to $412 with a second attendee pass.
Additional ticket categories also qualify for the discount. Non-profit professionals can save $237 on a second pass, while students can secure a $175 saving. Those interested in exploring emerging technologies and scouting talent may opt for the Expo+ pass, which offers a $162 discount on a second ticket.
For individuals attending alone, TechCrunch highlighted a separate deadline. A price increase is scheduled for September 25 at 11:59 p.m. PT, after which solo attendees will face higher costs. The conference emphasizes that attending with a peer allows participants to cover more ground, compare insights in real-time, and translate conversations into actionable business outcomes.
Love the split networking strategy. Two heads really are better than one when scouting VCs.
Just missed the September 25 price hike. Glad I secured my ticket early this time.
TechCrunch conferences are hit or miss. Hoping the startup quality this year actually justifies the hype.
Wait, does the BOGO apply if I buy a student pass for my grad assistant? The terms are vague.
Great timing! My co-founder and I were debating whether to go. This deal makes it a no-brainer.
