Second Death Confirmed in Bronx Legionnaires’ Disease Cluster

A second death has been confirmed in an ongoing cluster of Legionnaires’ disease cases in the Bronx, according to reports from The Hill.

As of Thursday, a total of 13 individuals have tested positive for the illness, which can cause severe pneumonia and respiratory failure. Health officials reported that two of those infected remain hospitalized.
