PepsiCo has issued a voluntary Class II recall affecting approximately 122,000 cases of Gatorade distributed across 37 U.S. states. The action was taken after the products were found to contain undeclared yellow food dyes, according to a notice published by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The recall specifically targets 28-ounce bottles of Gatorade Lemon Lime, Gatorade Lime Zero, Gatorade Orange, and Gatorade Orange Zero. The company initiated the recall on September 25, as stated in the FDA advisory posted on its website.

  1. My son is allergic to yellow dye. Good thing I checked the recall list before he finished his bottle.
