Pentagon Confirms Fort Hood Shooter’s Execution Will Be Public and Livestreamed

The Pentagon has stated that the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, the former Army psychiatrist responsible for the 2009 Fort Hood massacre, will be carried out via firing squad and made available to the public through livestreaming. The attack on the Texas military base resulted in the deaths of 13 individuals and left more than 30 others injured.

As of the announcement, the White House has not officially verified the details released by the Department of Defense regarding the method and accessibility of the execution.
