The South Korean military confirmed on Thursday that North Korea launched an unidentified projectile into the sea off its east coast. No further specifics regarding the type of weapon or the exact location of the launch were immediately released.
This incident follows a period of heightened tensions along the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), where Seoul has accused Pyongyang of violating borders with landmines that injured three soldiers. Authorities in South Korea are currently demanding an apology from North Korea regarding the mine incidents.
Military analysts continue to monitor the situation closely as more information becomes available.
I hope they release more details soon. Unknown projectile sounds concerning, especially after the mine incident.
Another missile test? This is getting exhausting. The tensions are really escalating lately.
