The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran issued a stern warning on Monday, stating it is prepared to “change the geography of the war” should the United States choose to escalate the ongoing tension. This statement followed new threats directed at the Islamic Republic by US President Donald Trump.
Speaking in an interview with Fox News over the weekend, ahead of the upcoming United Nations General Assembly, Trump revealed that he is weighing several drastic scenarios regarding Iran’s future. He described the situation as involving “very big things” that are expected to occur in the near future.
According to the former president, the primary options currently under consideration include the total destruction of Iran, allowing the nation to deteriorate economically, or negotiating a diplomatic settlement.
