Two Pilots Killed When Greek F-4 Phantom Crashes at Air Show

Greek authorities confirmed that two pilots died after their F-4 Phantom fighter jet crashed during an air show at the Tanagra air base on September 5, 2026.

The aircraft went down while performing a display as part of the Athens Flying Week event. Emergency response teams rushed to the scene, but both members of the crew were killed in the incident.
