JLR to Offer Thousands of Redundancies Amid Cyberattack and Tariff Pressures

As many as 4,000 jobs could be cut over two years after a cyberattack and US tariffs take a toll on Britain’s largest car manufacturer.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) informed workers and their union on Saturday that the company would be opening a voluntary redundancy programme for salaried and management team members. This move follows slashed revenues driven by falling sales and the impact of Donald Trump’s tariffs.
