Ugreen Launches HomeAgent H100 Pro for Local Smart Home Control

Ugreen, a manufacturer recognized for phone accessories and network-attached storage (NAS) devices, is entering the smart home market with a significant new offering. Announced this week at the IFA technology show, the HomeAgent platform integrates security camera storage, local artificial intelligence, and centralized smart home control into a single system.

The centerpiece of the launch is the HomeAgent H100 Pro hub, which functions as the core of the user’s connected home. The device supports a local-first AI approach, allowing for on-device processing to enhance privacy and responsiveness. Users interact with the system through natural language commands via Uliya, a dedicated voice assistant.

Ugreen promises that the entire ecosystem is designed to run locally, minimizing reliance on cloud services. The company is offering three distinct configurations for the hub to accommodate different user needs.

  1. Local AI is finally here for smart homes. Hope Uliya actually works well instead of just being another voice assistant we don’t need.

  2. Finally, a hub that keeps data off the cloud! This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for to secure my home security cameras.
