Ex-Safety Manager Sentenced to 19 Months for Fatal Hyperbaric Chamber Fire

A former safety manager has been sentenced to one year and seven months in prison for his role in the death of a five-year-old Michigan boy who died in a fiery explosion inside a hyperbaric oxygen chamber in January 2025.

Jeffrey Mosteller, 66, entered a plea of no contest to involuntary manslaughter charges during a hearing at the Oakland County Circuit Court in Michigan on Monday.
