The United States Mint has launched sales of $1 coins depicting President Donald Trump, priced at approximately £0.74 each. While federal law typically restricts currency imagery to deceased individuals, the Trump administration stated that a 2020 statute permits the president’s likeness on coins designated to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Pricing for the coins varies based on purchase volume. A roll containing 25 coins is available for $61 (£45), whereas bulk buyers can purchase a bag of 100 coins for $154.50 (£114).
