After initially withholding key specifications when introducing the all-electric i3 sedan, BMW has begun releasing critical details about the revamped model. Built on the company’s Neue Klasse platform, the vehicle now has confirmed figures for battery range, pricing, and availability.
The 2027 i3 50 xDrive is set to start at $61,500, excluding a $1,350 destination fee. This places the sedan squarely in competition with the Mercedes C-Class. Previously, estimates suggested a starting price near $60,000, but the official figure is now confirmed.
In addition to pricing, the new electric sedan boasts an impressive range of up to 468 miles. BMW also addressed previous uncertainty regarding US market availability by confirming an official launch timeline for the region.
