Thousands of people in Nepal lost their homes, possessions, and family members within minutes when flash floods struck on August 26. While authorities, non-governmental organizations, and volunteers have been working to deliver aid, living conditions in overcrowded temporary camps remain dire.
Many survivors continue to face an uncertain future as they attempt to rebuild their lives. France 24 correspondents Shahzaib Wahlah, Ondine de Gaulle, Achraf Abid, and Diamond Upretry recently visited a temporary camp established in a school in the Rasuwa district, which is located near the epicenter of the disaster.
