Adobe announced on Thursday the appointment of Anil Chakravarthy as its new CEO, taking over from Shantanu Narayen, who revealed his intention to step down earlier this year.
Chakravarthy joins the role from his current position as president of Adobe’s customer experience orchestration and worldwide field operations. He is scheduled to officially assume the helm on December 1 and will simultaneously join the company’s board of directors.
In extended trading, Adobe shares dropped approximately 2% following the announcement.
