Trump Doesn’t Rule Out ICE at Polling Sites as Court Reviews Immigrant Detention

The United States Supreme Court is set to examine whether individuals facing deportation possess a legal entitlement to a hearing to determine if they should remain in custody during their legal challenges.

In other developments, President Donald Trump stated he does not rule out the deployment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to monitor polling sites.

Meanwhile, the White House has once again prevented CNN from participating in the rotating press pool covering the president. The network was originally scheduled to join the media contingent traveling to Texas and Oklahoma with Trump but was removed from the official list of accredited newsrooms for the trip, according to the White House schedule.

  1. Wait, did they just say ICE might monitor voting sites? That seems like a direct attempt to intimidate voters.

  2. Blocking CNN again? The press pool rotation feels less about access and more about controlling the narrative entirely.

  3. Sending ICE to polling places is a scary precedent. Why would anyone question the legitimacy of this decision?
