Thirteenth Metropolitan Police Officer Dismissed Following BBC Undercover Investigation

A thirteenth serving officer with the Metropolitan Police has been dismissed as a result of an undercover BBC investigation that revealed instances of misogyny and racism at the Charing Cross police station.

PC Mason O’Connor was terminated for committing discreditable conduct and breaching professional behavior standards. The dismissal is linked to a specific comment he directed toward a female colleague, as confirmed by the Met Police.

The termination follows the broadcast of a Panorama film that documented the toxic culture within the station, adding O’Connor to a growing list of officers facing consequences for their behavior.
