A 40-year-old man was taken into custody early Wednesday morning on suspicion of conspiring to carry out an attack at the Texas state capitol, according to law enforcement officials.
The Texas Department of Public Safety announced that it had received credible intelligence indicating an individual was planning a violent incident targeting the capitol complex in Austin on Thursday.
