TalkTalk is moving urgently to secure its operational future by finalizing agreements to divest its consumer division and its wholesale broadband unit, PXC. The telecommunications provider indicated on Friday that these transactions are in their final stages, a critical step in its effort to avoid entering administration.
The company stated that protecting customer interests and retaining 900 jobs remains its primary focus as it negotiates with prospective buyers, including Opus Broadband and the investment group Octopus.
