Sienna Miller is set to star in the latest series for Sky Atlantic, titled ‘War,’ a sharp-edged divorce drama that promises to delve into the vicious world of high-stakes legal battles.
Dominic West plays the role of Morgan, a scheming technology mogul whose fortune becomes the target of his wife Carla, portrayed by Miller. The narrative follows their increasingly acrimonious split, highlighting the disparity in resources between the couple’s legal teams.
According to Nina Sosanya’s script, the character of lawyer Beatrice Ubosi declares, “If they play dirty, we will be total and utter filth,” signaling the show’s intent to explore the nastier aspects of separation. With West’s character employing an expensive and ruthless legal team, viewers can anticipate significant conflict and dramatic confrontations.
The series, written by Phil Harrison, continues the tradition of sophisticated television storytelling on Sky Atlantic. Additional programming highlights include Graham Norton hosting Sly Stallone and Catherine Zeta-Jones on his chat show later in the evening.
Sienna Miller vs Dominic West sounds perfect casting. Can’t wait to see how they handle the class disparity angle in those court scenes.
Finally, a show that doesn’t treat divorce like a polite dinner party. The legal team dialogue sounds savage and exactly what I want to see.
