Reform UK’s deputy leader, Richard Tice, has declined to specify the dates when two cryptocurrency millionaires returned to the United Kingdom, amid growing scrutiny over proposed regulations on overseas donations. The两位 billionaire donors provided a combined £72m to the party.
The hesitation comes as Rycroft, the architect of a recent review into foreign funding, indicated that individuals residing in the UK for less than 12 months could face stricter limits on the donations they are permitted to make.
Despite these developments, Tice expressed full confidence that Reform UK has adhered to all existing and anticipated legal requirements regarding party financing. However, when pressed, he was unable to confirm the exact timing of Ben Delo’s return from Hong Kong or detail how much time Christopher Harborne, who is based in Thailand, has spent within British borders.
