Seven of the world’s largest oil-exporting nations reached an agreement on Sunday to sustain their baseline production levels throughout November, according to a report by The Hill. The decision comes as global fuel prices continue to stay elevated due to the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
The coalition, commonly referred to as “OPEC+,” comprises Algeria, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Oman, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. During their meeting, members decided to maintain the production quotas they originally established in September, opting for continuity rather than adjustment.
