Football fans across Europe are turning their attention to a busy evening of UEFA Nations League action featuring seven matches kicking off at 7.45pm BST. Among the marquee ties, Wales host Norway while Germany clash with Serbia. Other Group C fixtures include Denmark versus Portugal, and Norway’s earlier match against Denmark has set the stage for these critical encounters.
Wales manager Craig Bellamy has voiced strong concerns about his squad’s recent form, admitting he barely recognized his team during a disappointing loss to Denmark. Adding to the worries for the Welsh side is the injury status of captain Martin Ødegaard, who remains a doubt for the upcoming match against Norway. Confirmed line-ups for tonight’s games are expected shortly.
Norway arrive in positive spirits under head coach Ståle Solbakken, who has led the nation for six years. Solbakken dismissed suggestions that the recent legal verdict involving Erling Haaland has distracted the squad. The Manchester City striker has found the net in three consecutive matches, including two recent goals, and is confident everything is under control ahead of the Wales fixture.

Bellamy admits he barely recognized his own team? That’s deeply concerning for Wales’ Nations League hopes as the stakes rise.
Germany vs Serbia should be tight. Serbia’s defense is organized, but Germany’s attack looks far sharper in recent friendlies.
I’m amazed Solbakken says the Haaland legal verdict isn’t distracting. That’s huge news; surely it must affect team morale?
Ødegaard doubt is massive news. Wales really cannot afford to play without their creative spark against a dangerous Norwegian side tonight.
