Residents across much of Canada will no longer turn their clocks back by one hour in November, as the country advances toward permanent daylight saving time.
The shift reflects a growing trend among Canadian provinces and territories seeking to align with public preference for extended evening daylight year-round. Cross-border coordination remains a point of contention, with experts noting that divergence in time practices between the two nations could create confusion for travel, commerce, and communication.
