British supercar manufacturer McLaren has announced plans to create 1,000 jobs, offering a significant boost to the UK’s struggling automotive industry. The new positions, which include roles for both indirect and agency workers, will be based at the company’s Woking facility.
The employment expansion is part of a broader £450m investment into McLaren’s technology centre, located near the plant where all of the company’s vehicles are manufactured.
