Fujifilm Unveils Instax Pal 2 with Screen and Autofocus at $170

Fujifilm has introduced the Instax Pal 2, a successor to its compact Instax Pal device that was originally released three years ago alongside an instant printing accessory. The initial model featured a spherical, palm-sized form factor but omitted both a display screen and a viewfinder. In contrast, the newly announced Instax Pal 2 incorporates both elements into a chassis designed to resemble a miniature analog film camera.

Although the device shares a pocket-friendly aesthetic with popular competitors like the Kodak Charmera, Fujifilm claims the updated specifications are intended to deliver superior image quality. The camera is equipped with a 1/3.06-inch sensor and an f/2.2, 28mm lens capable of capturing high-resolution photographs.

According to reports from PetaPixel, the Instax Pal 2 is scheduled to hit the US market later this month with a retail price of $169.95.
