Fleetwood Town to Host Arsenal in Carabao Cup Fourth Round Draw

Fleetwood Town, currently competing in League Two, will face Premier League title holders Arsenal at home during the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, according to the latest draw results.

The Lancashire club secured their historic spot in this stage of the competition for the first time by defeating Sheffield United 1-0 on Wednesday, with the decisive moment coming from an own goal by Sheffield United’s Rhys Norrington-Davies. Their opponents, Arsenal, advanced to this round after a 4-2 victory over Ipswich Town on Tuesday under manager Mikel Arteta.

The remaining matchups feature exclusively Premier League encounters, including Fulham hosting Crystal Palace, Bournemouth taking on Aston Villa, Sunderland traveling to face Brentford, and Everton welcoming Newcastle United. A highly anticipated clash between Liverpool and Chelsea is also set, which will see Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso return to face his former club.
