Robert Jenrick has stated that Reform UK adhered to legal protocols at every stage, even as the Metropolitan Police evaluate whether to initiate an investigation into the party’s overseas donation affairs.
Nigel Farage, who is working to manage the fallout from the allegations, acknowledged that the situation ‘looks bad’ for his party but firmly denied that it had ever accepted foreign money in violation of electoral law.
When asked to categorically rule out that foreign funds had been channeled to the party, the Reform leader responded, ‘It never happened,’ according to reports from The Guardian.
