The announcement has clarified long-standing speculation among fans regarding the nature of the project, which had been debated as either a standard album, a music video, or a global tour.
In a caption accompanying the Instagram post, the artist noted that the film was directed and scored by his family. The teaser features footage of a man, presumed to be Drake, speeding across tranquil waters in a neon green speedboat. A female narrator overlays the visuals with the question: “What if I told you there were two versions of your life? In one, you avoid risk and withhold love. You feel like you’ve gone missing from yourself. You look for something you can’t find. In the other version of your life, you find it.” The clip concludes with the title card, which Drake first revealed alongside the release date on September 3.
