A court has been told that Daniel Billings made a phone call to a woman he had met on Tinder approximately two hours after fatally stabbing his former partner, Molly Ticehurst.
During the call at 2:02 am on April 22, 2024, Billings reportedly said, “I’m sorry I murdered her,” and added, “I did what I did.” The conversation took place while he was at a friend’s house.
The disclosure emerged during proceedings regarding the 2024 domestic violence murder. Billings is accused of killing Ticehurst in a violent attack prior to contacting the other woman.
Poor Molly. Two hours later and he’s casually talking to someone else while confessing. Absolutely disgusting behavior.
Does this mean his defense team will argue he lost his sanity, or is this just cold-blooded arrogance?
I can’t believe he said ‘I did what I did.’ What was he thinking? The court must have been stunned.
This is absolutely chilling. How can someone confess to murder so brazenly right after the act?
