The scheme typically begins when a user reviews their schedule and encounters an unfamiliar meeting entry. Clicking on the invitation often reveals a note about reviewing a project, accompanied by a URL purportedly providing further details. Upon following the link, the victim is directed to a counterfeit website designed to harvest their username and password.
