Bose has reintroduced wired earbuds to its lineup, marking the first time the company has offered a tethered option since discontinuing them in 2015. The new device, named the Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds, eliminates the need for frequent recharging while incorporating eleven years of advancements in sound isolation through active noise canceling technology.
Customers can place pre-orders for the earbuds starting today via Bose’s official online store. The product is priced at $99 and will be available in three colorways: black, white smoke, and a limited-edition hue referred to as dewdrop mint.
Dewdrop mint? Really? I just want something that works well. I’m intrigued but skeptical about the sound quality at that price.
Took them nearly a decade to get back. I miss my old Bose buds. This feels like a welcome return to basics.
Is the active noise cancellation actually effective without the power drain of a battery? How long does the internal battery last?
$99 for wired earbuds? With ANC? Sounds like a steep price for a simple cable. Let’s see if it justifies the cost.
Finally. Recharging my earbuds daily was getting ridiculous. Wired means no dead batteries in the middle of a long flight.
