BBC Sport is inviting football enthusiasts to test their knowledge through a fresh set of daily puzzles. The latest round of questions, clues, and answers has been crafted by Flora Snelson and Joe Rindl.
Participants can engage with three distinct formats. In ‘Who Am I?’, players attempt to identify a footballer using the fewest guesses possible. Each incorrect attempt reveals an additional clue, with higher scores awarded to those who require fewer hints.
The ‘Five in Five’ segment challenges users to provide five correct answers within a strict five-minute time limit.
Meanwhile, the ‘Brainteaser’ offers a more difficult challenge where users have five lives before the solution is revealed.
Readers looking for more content can visit the dedicated Football Quizzes and Sports Quizzes pages. There, they can also sign up for notifications to receive updates on new quizzes directly to their devices.
Previously published quizzes include features such as naming every club in the Premier League and EFL, as well as identifying the top 10 England Lionesses by caps. Additional sports-related quizzes are also available across the platform.
Finally, a decent way to kill ten minutes before kickoff. Brainteaser is tough but fair.
Do you guys ever include women’s football more often? The Lionesses quiz was a nice touch though.
Five in Five is brutal. Missed three questions on my first try. Need more practice time!
Who is Flora Snelson? Didn’t know she was behind these. Good to see fresh faces.
Love the new Who Am I format. Keeps me engaged much longer than just ticking boxes.
