BBC Sport is encouraging football fans to challenge their knowledge with a new series of daily online quizzes designed to test understanding of the game across various formats.
The collection features three distinct challenges: ‘Who Am I?’, ‘Five in Five’, and a ‘Brainteaser’. The puzzles are curated and set by Flora Snelson and Joe Rindl.
In the ‘Who Am I?’ segment, participants must identify a footballer using the fewest attempts possible. After each incorrect guess, an additional clue is revealed, with higher points awarded for solving the puzzle with fewer hints.
The ‘Five in Five’ quiz requires users to provide five correct answers within a strict five-minute time limit. Meanwhile, the ‘Brainteaser’ offers a more complex challenge where players have five lives to solve a difficult question before the solution is revealed.
The quizzes are part of BBC Sport’s broader football coverage, with links provided to dedicated pages for historical quizzes and sports trivia. Users can also access notifications to receive updates directly on their devices.
