Governor Chadchart Sittipunt reported that approximately 300 millimeters (11.8 inches) of rain has already fallen. Meteorologists warn that additional precipitation is likely in the coming days, raising concerns about the severity of the situation.
Footage captured in the Thai capital depicts submerged roadways where vehicles are attempting to drive through deep water, with several cars appearing to be stranded by the rising floods.
