Meta is developing a specialized hardware device designed to operate independently with its new Muse AI agent. During the conclusion of tonight’s Meta Connect event, CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave a brief demonstration of the gadget, which has been named the Muse Charm.
The device resembles a thick, strapless smartwatch, characterized by a prominent display screen and an attached lanyard for portability. Key interface elements include a fingerprint sensor located on the upper right corner, which serves as the activation trigger for initiating conversations with the AI agent.
Additionally, the hardware appears to incorporate a small camera and multiple microphone holes on the front face, likely consisting of at least three input sensors to facilitate voice interaction. Zuckerberg indicated that the device is intended to function without requiring users to unlock their smartphones first.
