Speaking before the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on international leaders to sustain economic pressure against Moscow. He emphasized that restricting Russia’s financial inflows remains critical to hindering its military operations.
“Russia’s revenues must remain a target,” Zelensky stated, urging the global community to keep choking off the funds that support the war effort.
But which countries will actually enforce this? Sanctions without global participation are just empty threats we’ve seen before.
Finally, a leader who gets it. Cutting off revenue is the only way to stop this war effectively.
