Ohio’s top two electoral contests are projected to be incredibly close following the release of new survey data this week. According to a poll conducted by Bowling Green State University (BGSU), Democratic candidates currently hold a slim three-point advantage over their Republican counterparts among likely voters in the state.
Despite the slight edge shown in the numbers, the survey indicated a divergence in voter expectations regarding the final outcomes. While the Democrats lead on paper, Republican contenders remain optimistic about their prospects for victory in the upcoming elections.
Is it just me, or does every recent poll show these races as dead heats? The margins keep shrinking.
Republicans are playing hard to get, but BGSU polls usually lean slightly Dem anyway. This race will come down to turnout.
Three points is basically a toss-up in Ohio. I doubt Democrats can hold this lead when the economy is this shaky.
