Juror Says He Had ‘No Doubts’ in Lindsay Clancy Trial Before Deadlock

The sole juror who refused to convict Lindsay Clancy in her murder trial has released a statement insisting he never wavered in his belief that she was guilty. Michael P. Desronvil told ABC News on Friday that he possessed “no doubts” throughout the jury’s seven days of deliberations.

Desronvil claimed that his attempts to outline alternative theories were repeatedly interrupted by other jurors, creating the false impression that he had reservations based on the evidence. He stated that considering the physical proof, key witness testimony, and the prosecution’s presentation, he found sufficient cause to believe Clancy acted with full knowledge and premeditation.

Clancy is accused of strangling her three children—5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and infant Callan—at their home in Duxbury, a suburb of Boston, on January 24, 2023. She has entered pleas of not guilty to three counts of murder.

The five-week trial concluded with a mistrial on September 4, 2026, after the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict. The case now faces an uncertain future regarding whether district attorneys will pursue a retrial.
