Google appears to have officially discontinued the Pixel Tablet, removing the device from its online store and eliminating the “Tablet” category from its homepage navigation. The move suggests the three-year-old tablet is no longer in production, following earlier reports that inventory had already run out.
The removal was first identified by tech blog Jetstream, which noted days ago that the device was marked as out of stock. With the product now entirely removed from Google’s storefront, the publication reported that discontinuation seems likely. A request for confirmation from Google regarding the device’s status has not yet received a response.
While the tablet itself has been taken off shelves, some accessory listings remain, though most items such as the Pixel Tablet Case and Charging Speaker Dock are also unavailable for immediate purchase. Customers can currently only sign up for restock notifications. The sole exception is the Wasserstein Pixel Tablet Speaker Stand, which remains available for order.
The Pixel Tablet was unveiled at Google I/O in 2023 with a launch price of $899, a figure that included the innovative charging speaker dock. The device is no longer sold on Amazon, and Best Buy’s listing indicates the item is unavailable in new condition.
