Max Verstappen secured pole position for the Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay Street Circuit following his victory in the preceding sprint race.
McLaren team principal Zak Brown addressed tensions within his garage after his drivers were involved in an incident the previous day. Brown confirmed he had delivered a strong reprimand to those involved.
“I didn’t say please,” Brown joked, describing his interaction as more of an order than a request.
The 2026 Formula One feature race is scheduled for a 1pm BST start and will cover 62 laps. Due to the circuit’s length, the event is expected to last approximately two hours. Competitors will face significant physical demands due to the high heat and humidity at the street circuit.
Two hours in this heat… the pit crews need all the ice packs they can get!
Verstappen on pole after the sprint is impressive, but can he keep the lead on this tricky street circuit?
Zak Brown really didn’t mince words. Hopefully this snaps the team back into focus.
That humidity is brutal! Can’t wait to see how the drivers handle the physical toll tonight.
