Viewers can look forward to a compelling lineup of television programming tonight, headlined by a high-profile legal drama and international women’s football.
At 9pm on Sky Atlantic, a new series explores the turbulent waters of divorce, amplified by its casting of major stars Sienna Miller and Dominic West. The actors’ own prominent relationships have frequently drawn media scrutiny, adding a layer of real-world intrigue to the production. The storyline follows their character, Carla, who is served custody papers on a red carpet—a plot point reportedly inspired by a real-life incident involving an Olivia Wilde representative delivering documents to Jason Sudeikis during an awards ceremony.
The narrative takes a sharper turn when Johnny, an ambitious junior solicitor, joins Carla’s legal team on his first day. However, the situation becomes more complicated as it is revealed that he is acting as a mole for her husband’s side of the case.
In addition to the drama, audiences can watch the England Women’s National Team, known as the Lionesses, as they continue their pursuit of the World Cup title.
Switching between high-society divorce drama and elite football is a weird combo, but hey, I’m here for the Lionesses!
A mole on day one? That plot twist feels a bit convenient for a pilot episode, doesn’t it?
Honestly, the Olivia Wilde origin story makes this so much juicier. Can’t wait to see how they fictionalize that red carpet chaos.
